I like to test antimalware programs behaviour, system footprint etc so it's possible that I 'll have another real time app soon until I find what's best for me. I had been using Avast free for a long period of time until I had the driver issues with Win8..I was ver satisfied till then. Also, I cannot afford antivirus protection so I look for free apps, long trials, promotions etc. I don't like antimalware programs that slow down the system or take ages to scan files.
My big question is whether tests in av-comparatives, av-test etc (real world tets, performance, file detection..) represent a real idea of a product's abilities.

How long do you have Kaspersky registered for? Also some more addons that you can add to Chrome; Lastpass, Adblock Plus, HTTPS Everywhere, WOT (if needed), No Script.

Also any reason you don't have MBAM as an On-Demand Scanner?

I have registered it for 90 days with a key provided by a promotion I found on the net. I don't need last pass 'cause I prefer to remember my passwords (every app makes the pc/application a bit heavier also). As for adblock plus I am not sure if it gets the page to load faster so I don't use is at this time. HTTPS everywhere I 've heard it makes some sites not work correctly and about WOT I 've just forgot to install it after reinstalling windows some time ago. I also don't see any serious reason to install No script..
MBAM is another on demand scanner that I use, but it is not installed at the time. I will install it soon as I do always..

Seeing as you have KIS installed you don't really need to run WOT alongside it as KIS has it's own web reputation feature.

Why did you uninstall KIS?

You can run KIS & Webroot Secure Anywhere side by side.Just make exclusions in KIS for WSA and they run beautifully together.WSA is a very good program and extremely light. It is better served as a companion program as it can be installed a run alongside just about every security.

I run KIS 2013 & WSA together on Windows 7

I know it can be used side by side.. but I did it for better performance of my PC :) I believe that WSA is enough alone; I did a small research via google about webroot, cloud etc.. No doubt that KIS & WSA together provide better protection than WSA alone but it must be a small difference as I have MBAM and hitman pro for 2nd opinion scanners.

Very interesting!! I 've read some things on cloud antivirus but this review answered my questions about the specific product.
