RE: my win8 config

good and simple config, no needs more for a normal usage.

Running Chrome inside Sandboxie will protect you from most infections.

I will remove SAS and replace it by Malwarebytes Anti-malwares, it will do the same better.

Back in XP I was always trying to avoid Internet Explorer, but since IE 9 came out for Vista and 7, I think it's the best browser that Microsoft has done to date.

That's what Microsoft did to everyone. They got people so drunk that they all got confused to know what is Windows Defender and Microsoft Security Essentials. :D

Good, as Umbra mentioned, replace SAS with MBAM-AM

RE: my win8 config

My grandmother and my Aunt just got their Win8 PC's and when I tried 'em out, I just fell in love :p
IE10 is just so amazing, Its so fast and does its Job but it does have the lack of Add Ons.
I can't say much on Win Defender as I need to see more reviews as the only review I seen was Matt's from R-M and it performed well.

From my experience, yes. ESET uses more memory than your average AV.

Don't worry about it.

ESET can use around 100+ mb or RAM but unlike the common thinking, High RAM usage doesn't mean slow responsiveness.

My computer teacher used to say "unused RAM is wasted RAM"

Where the hell did you get that impression of ESET?!?

I guess then it's not. The reason I got that was because well, Biozfear uses it, and he says (well I might be wrong) it's good and light for gaming?
