I was recently asked via email to vote for new features. Amongst the options, there was improved firewall for all products, firewall in free version and some others, which I don't remember. I was able to leave a feature request, which I did. I requested IDS/IPS, which in my opinion can greatly enhance Avast/AVG. I am assuming new features are on their way, but most probably not in this version.
