Hi Martian, in the paid version, you can Force programs to run sandboxed. By forcing programs, files and programs will run sandboxed automatically when you click on a file or program. That makes sandboxing automatic and less thinking is required to get files running in a sandbox.
You also have the Forced folder feature in the paid version. By using this feature, as an example, you can force files in your download folder to run automatically sandboxed when you click on them or you can force your USB drive as well as other drives like the CD or DVD drives. That way, you ll get files that run out of a USB drive or videos sandboxed automatically.
One of the advantages of using the paid version is that you are allow to use multiple sandboxes at the same time. This feature really is what Sandboxie is all about because by being able to use multiple sandboxes at the same time, you separate programs from each other. The more you separate/isolate programs from each other and the system, the safer you are. Using separate sandboxes allows you to tailor each sandbox according to the program or purpose for what you created the sandbox.
The free version is great but Sandboxie is a lot more than a browser in a sandbox. Sandboxing your browser is only the tip of the iceberg of what can be done with SBIE.
