I say the Zoostorm 08 E5700 8GB 1TB Desktop Tower because what MrXidus said you can get a HDMI port.

I would say option B due to the dedicated gpu. Tell me how you want to buy and how much since I could make some research and see what I find.

what about decent prices of decent rigs at overclockers uk?

Custom Built or Pre-Made? That is another good supplier as well... but I find Ebuyer to be the best one for me at least.

hi all ebuyer one is nice but an wont Deliver in my post code area !
Free Shipping restrictions may apply to some postcode areas.
paying for special Deliver Ad's 100 to the price

P

Plexx

Well I usually use Overclockers since they do ship to gibraltar.

Custom build would be fine. Their prices are quite reasonable depending what you want, although I mainly get parts shipped over but a friend of mine did order one custom build for a decent price and he was happy with it. I wasn't since, well I paid more in Spain for the same specs :p

A quick look at their site this ain't bad and is decent: Overclockers

nice website lioz. If you don't mind building yourself I would consider of taking this package if medion is no option.

You never said anything about the max price and how you'll buy. I can say that building the desktop yourself can save you money which will in the end give you more value for the money.

MEDION is nice its a maby

Yeah Medion are not a bad brand (still prefer Zoostorm tbh) at all, even had one myself back in the day. It was the '8800' Model so shows how long ago. :)

Suprised on the delivery charge, it's got to be a mistake in the system surely as £100 for special is just not right. Send them an email and see.

As said by (forgot who sorry) another user have you got a max price as you've not stated so.

I guess a dual-core will do for light gaming and just casual use, but I'd still recommend at least a triple-core. Other than that, 8 gigs of RAM will do just fine. As for the first PC, I'd say you should get a graphics card, since on-board graphics aren't that good, especially from Intel (from what I've heard).

Dual core is almost a must due to the today's standards.

the HD3000 (i5/i7) should do better than HD2000(i3 and below) and it beats some on-board gpu from nvidia and AMD such as Gefore 310 and HD4200, according to notebookcheck its a class 3 gpu. Intel's incoming Intel HD series will have 60% better performance than HD3000 (12 vs 16 executions core (execution core is similar to cuda core)).

It should be release in march the coming year when ivy bridge is launched. According to intel even the extreme edition will use 77W as max. if that's may then the cpu uses 50W-60W the rest is for the integrated gpu.

thanks for the rep.

I can say that the Intel HD3000 is not bad especially if you want light gaming and for casual things; some older games can be played with max settings at a resolution 1600x900 such as Rappelz. Need for speed world can be played at medium with 1600x900. so it's okey.
