Even members on PCTools forum thought ThreatFire was abandoned, but PCTools just released a new version of their free behavior-blocker.

As you can see this is mainly a much needed bug-fix release, but they also plan future versions that will improve performance and add new features.
The link on their download page still points to the old 4.7.0 release from 2009, but you can get the new version here.
