Yes, you can still buy a new PC with Windows 7 installed instead of Windows 8. While Microsoft is also still offering a way for those users to upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for just $14.99 until January 31, 2013, it has apparently added a new requirement for that to happen.

They slammed the door on that one and at the same time probably slammed the door on themselves also.Even though I am always up to the challenge of obtaining a great bargain in the software world ;),I must admit it is only reasonable that they have added this requirement.I just wonder who makes these offers up? The janitorial staff ? :p
