Awful. Firefox is becoming a Google Chrome clone:

- Using the horrible fast version numbering
- Dropping support for advanced addons and using WebExtensions
- Dropping support for more Development releases like this one

I'm seriously thinking about making the switch. If I want a Google Chrome clone, I would rather be using Chrome.
Sad!

That would have a major impact on the Tor browser , which is Aurora based ( if I'm not mistaken )

I think it's ESR based
@brod56 Let's just see what happens. Empirical evidence is still the best indicator of success. Even experts are worse at predictions than chance. Mozilla is still a major force and they're the ones who have the data to make decisions and the share is significant enough to be reliable.
Developer becomes Beta instead.
