Symantec will not official be supporting IE 9 or FF 4 for at least 6 weeks. Mid May they claim. What gives?

Yes i to think that's completely, outrageous Symantec is usually on top of things not sure why they were not on top of this. Unless, they are really working hard on Norton Internet Security 2012 :) *joke*

Not a good idea for having no support for six weeks so customers are complaining that norton toolbar and others are not compatible on the stated browsers. They can do it in a shorter time.

10 page thread of complaints.

I'm sure, they will release this tool bar fix in much less time than they have planed on having it released. But the fact it could go on for this long is really not that great. I'm sure there live chats and telephone support lines are all tied up. Most Noobs will use the live chat not knowing any news about the product.

Its not just the toolbar. When you install NIS you get the toolbar for secure login's and you also get safe web. Both of those add ons are disabled with FF. Others are having problems with IE. For people with kids such as myself the Online Family Norton plugin also does not work with IE or FF.
