Good to see that Symantec wasn't taken 'by surprise' by this release, like in v.5
Kaspersky also released patch D for their products which basically gives its users support for FF 6.

On 15 August 2011 Kaspersky Lab released a new patch D for Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 (version 12.0.0.374).

The patch D is automatically installed once anti-virus databases of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 version 12.0.0.374 are updated.

The patch eliminates the problems concerning Anti-Banner, Virtual Keyboard and Web-Antivirus plug-ins display in Mozilla Firefox 6.

These Norton patches are done automatically through their software, right?

How was Symantec taken by surprise with the release of Mozilla Firefox 5? A compatibility update was released the same day Mozilla Firefox 5 was.

Oppps! Yes, the compatibility problem was reported for version 4 ....not 5, I didn't remembered that quite right, sorry. :P

Norton are doing good on making it up to date with the latest version.

So it isn't surprise when other upcoming version come and apply another patch.
