I recommend using a backup program (AOMEI Backupper Standard is very good software)
or perform manual backups. A second opinion to Windows Defender would also be interesting , as you make use of AdwCleaner , Malwarebytes or Emsisoft Emergency Kit would be interesting, are excellent complements to adwcleaner to remove adware and pups .

Consider two or three on demand scanners
Consider some type of back up solution
Consider replacing ABD with uBlock and adding HTTPS Everywhere
Consider adding an additional back up browser

You may add Unchecky to your tool to help trim down those bundled stuffs that you may not include upon installation of 3rd party programs.

Optional suggestions: You may add a password manager like Lastpass to store your sensitive information and other login credentials without worries.
