Artificial intelligence is revolutionizing gaming - from in-game physics and animation simulation to real-time rendering and AI-assisted broadcasting features. With Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), NVIDIA set out to redefine real-time rendering through AI-based super resolution - rendering fewer pixels and then using AI to construct sharp, higher resolution images. With our latest 2.0 version of DLSS, we’ve made big advances towards this vision.
Powered by dedicated AI processors on GeForce RTX GPUs called Tensor Cores, DLSS 2.0 is a new and improved deep learning neural network that boosts frame rates while generating beautiful, crisp game images. It gives gamers the performance headroom to maximize ray tracing settings and increase output resolutions.

DLSS 3.0 will be much better with it still requires the developer to implement it on per-game basis but the overall implantation w will be easier.

Something gamers noticed is the fact AMD Fidelity FX has better results with no loss in performance, not to mention is open source and works in both AMD and NVidia cards (obviously it works on Nvidia cards, is how we got the figures to prove Fidelity FX has no performance hit in comparison to DLSS).

That is DLSS 2.0, DLSS 3.0 does not exist...

AMD Fidelity FX doesn't do any ML upscaling and is only subjectively better in most titles than the beta DLSS1.0 only.
not DLSS 2.0 nor DLSS 3.0.
don't worry though as AMD soon will have ML upscaling too but not as good as DLSS 3.0 so far.

I've run Control with DLSS 2.0 and I was able to bump up to 1440p from 1080p. It worked pretty darn well.

Is nothing more than a huge grain of salt.

Excuse me? You just saying more and more nonsense as you go, I don't know where you got the idea the FidelityFX does not support upscaling, ML upscaling is not the holy grail either as seen by the poor DLSS support and performance.

FidelityFX is an API with multiple features:
  • Contrast Adaptive Sharpening
  • Screen Space Reflections
  • Ambient Occlusion
  • HDR Mapper
  • Downsampler
Which is not only easy to implement, but CAS can be forced on any game, which is something DLSS won't achieve the way it currently works. Plus you keep mentioning something that doesn't exist, which is DLSS 3.0 (this does not exist, NVidia just released DLSS 2.0).
