Some say this is crapware...but personally don't see it that way though. Maybe it's the spam that they do when they get your email through the promo link. Have some friends who uses O&O software and they tend to keep it.

I'm running Iobit SmartDefrag2 atm, anyone have an opinion as to which is the better of the two?

I guess stability and effectiveness (performance increase) are the important factors. I have to say I'm not 100% about SmartDefrag. I like the boot-time function, but the main component doesn't quite inspire confidence

Thanks for this. Decided to give it a try, and to compare with Iobit SmartDefrag2 which I have been using but not too happy with.

The best defragmentation tool (for me) is Auslogics Defrag free, if you want advanced options there is a Pro version too
