Make sure UAC is enabled. Got to Control Panel>System and Security>Action Center>Change User Account Control Settings
Make sure it is set to at least Default setting as seen below

You could add a couple more On demand scanners such as Malwarebytes Antimalware,Hitman Pro and or Emsisoft Emergency Kit
CCleaner or Privazer if not already installed
Thanks for sharing your config!!

Hi Omarsami. As Nitlott has supported exterminator20's recommendations, I shall support Nitlott as well!:p Knowing the importance of downloading only from trusted sources like Softpedia.com or directly from the developers, will enhance the meaning of warnings from UAC (User Activated Control). Don't allow it's important function to be mistaken as an annoyance for what it will be doing is allowing you a second chance to decide before allowing changes to your system to be made. This is one of the components of the "common sense" you'll develop as you learn more directly from the Wise Oracles (both Staff & Trusted Members) whom come down from high atop Mount Olympus, J/K!!:p Well, ..sort of.
SeaMonkey (along with Nightly) are among the Mozilla Gecko sourced browsers I've not yet tried,o_O although these currently are from the same source as my favorite Firefox-like browsers.
Pale Moon is a personal favorite.
How do you like SeaMonkey? If it is kept up with security patches I might take it for a spin myself!:p

Keep Adblock plus subscriptions updated, unless you do already, by <clicking> on the icon, and under preferences "update subscriptions". I use & recommend (4) lists, Easylist (blocks Adds), Easy Privacy (blocks tracking), Malware domains (ditto malware), & Fanboy's annoyances (includes Fanboy's social blocking too).

Another favorite extension I'd also learned of from our Great exterminator20 (he's been granting wishes for 101 years!) ;) ..is an encryption secured password manager that's free, & comes recommend highly. It's name is LastPass.:):)
Lastly, using a sandbox while browsing is both safe 'and' smart, and it's also free! Read more about how it works here:

Outpost Security Suite is a fine protection software however you must be aware from being such a complex especially when dealing on pop ups.

Much better than the free suite version since everything became limited like updates which only one time per day (not hourly nor stream updates)

@Cats-4_Owners-2 : Seamonkey is nice if you are lot into Social Networking it has in-built features for notifications and stuff.

A little info on what UAC is http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows/what-is-user-account-control#1TC=windows-7

To turn on UAC you can either go via

or via search, i am using windows 8.1 so just windows key + s

You can go for this , i believe you have OSS, so you can go with this setting and leave the rest to OSS + WSA combo which you are running.

Also what @Cats-4_Owners-2 recommended are good add-ons, if i may also add also add Bitdefender Traffic Light.

Cheers!
