Hi Omarsami. As Nitlott has supported exterminator20's recommendations, I shall support Nitlott as well!
Knowing the importance of downloading only from trusted sources like Softpedia.com or directly from the developers, will enhance the meaning of warnings from UAC (User Activated Control). Don't allow it's important function to be mistaken as an annoyance for what it will be doing is allowing you a second chance to decide
before allowing changes to your system to be made. This is one of the components of the "common sense" you'll develop as you learn more directly from the Wise Oracles (both Staff & Trusted Members) whom come down from high atop Mount Olympus, J/K!!
Well, ..sort of.
SeaMonkey (along with Nightly) are among the Mozilla Gecko sourced browsers I've not yet tried,
although these currently
are from the same source as my favorite Firefox-like browsers.
Pale Moon is a personal favorite.
How do you like SeaMonkey? If it is kept up with security patches I might take it for a spin myself!
Keep Adblock plus subscriptions updated, unless you do already, by <clicking> on the icon, and under preferences "update subscriptions". I use & recommend (4) lists, Easylist (blocks Adds), Easy Privacy (blocks tracking), Malware domains (ditto malware), & Fanboy's annoyances (includes Fanboy's social blocking too).
Another favorite extension I'd also learned of from our Great exterminator20 (he's been granting wishes for 101 years!)
..is an encryption secured password manager that's
free, & comes recommend highly. It's name is LastPass.
Lastly, using a sandbox while browsing is both safe '
and' smart, and it's also free! Read more about how it works here:
