Which is the most recommended product for a second opinion scanner and free?

My personal preference would be to use either Emsisoft EK or Zemana.

You already mentioned secondary scanner and free.
There's no harm of having more secondary scanner. All three are decent. ZAM and EEK excels by being a portable software.

Whenever I do testing, pretty much always there are things one picks up that other one doesn't. As for Zemana, anyone know what engines they're using now? Recently reached out to them about something else, and asked them about it a few times and they didn't even acknowledge the question. They used to be in the settings and you could enable/disable the engines, but now it's some big secret. Wonder what they're hiding.

False trilemma here; you can use all of them with no negative impact; I do.

If you really only want one, though, Emsisoft hands down.

Malwarebytes Anti Malware defiantly, and paid off course,but i must admit that i also have Zemana,superantispyware,Adwcleaner and Hitmanpro.
