Does anyone have thoughts? (Note that the ultimate competition is what is the best version of which OS):
Windows Round:
Pre-Windows XP(U)
Windows XP(U)
Windows Vista
Windows 7
Windows 8
Windows 8.1
Mac Round:
Pre-OS X 10.4 (U)
OS X 10.4 (U)

OS X 10.6(U)
OS X 10.7
OS X 10.8
OS X 10.9
Linux Round
Chrome OS
Ubuntu

This is about security/privacy!

Hard to say without having to be an user for all the Operating Systems.

I do know that old, unsupported or stopped development of any OS is not secure, this includes Linux distro's.

Windows: 8.1

Linux: Debian from this list, although I believe Arch is a better option.

Mac: OSX 10.9(as soon as a new OSX version is released, all the previous ones are rendered obsolete)
