Packet Sniffers

Used them at TAFE when we were doing the Networking course. Since then though haven't really used them much.

I've used Microsoft's Network Monitor in the past.

Tip: You can set it up using Task Scheduler to capture data at a set time.

uses a packet sniffer: I had a bit of fun with Firesheep back a while ago changing my mates
status on their facebook account lolol....only mates and no public involved....:)

Firesheep was an extension for the Firefox web browser that used a packet sniffer to intercept unencrypted cookies from websites such as Facebook and Twitter which led to a lot of laughs once your mates found out that their password had been changed.

grow up... why? a bit of harmless fun... and fun makes you smile and smiles take less facial muscles than frowning
lol :P
