WinRaR isn't freeware per-se...You Could have mentioned 7zip for an alternative. Or We could say winrar is itself a freeware

Yes it's a freeware utility from ESET. Like Kaspersky Virus Scanner if I remember correctly for this one.

29. Data Recovery: I don't think GetDataBackNTFS is free, because it allows you to perform the data recovery and to see and verify your recovered files without having the possibility to save. So it doesn't qualify.

Read again. GetDataBackNTFS Portable is made from the paid version so it's like if you were using the paid version for free.
All of this can be done via Windows Tasks Scheduler and Windows Backup and Recovery, you just have to know how.
You can download it and install it on your system from any other browsers.

Windows backup and recovery is just bare essentials..it doesn't let yo do incremental, differential backups well..

It installs locally on your system. Download and use it, then go in your installed programs list and you'll see by yourself.

Currently trying and running its scan, searched my pc for the application. Seems like no installation is there, but scan is running though. I guess it takes place only in browsers, and it requires JAVA to run.
When you run it from Internet Explorer, it requires no installation.
If you download it from any other browser, then yes it makes you download and install it.
