I also turn the phone completely off whenever I go to sleep. Basically making sure that

A) android verified boot can do it's job in the morning
B) The phone is not in AFU state when I'm unconscious

It says it can only work when I have Location on, but I also have that off. I had it enabled for a while tho... I'm still not sure if I should enable it again or not.

Well when you go outside so turn on, make sure turn off location on all apps to save the battery except Find My Phone

Chrome is fine but i recommend Bromite for browser as it's based on Chromium and has better privacy and even a built-in adblocker.

adblocker in fact reduce privacy but that's another topic.
Anyway, Bromite provide better security than Chrome on Android as it includes some security enhancement patches from GrapheneOS / Vanadium: bromite/bromite
