Park Booms PC Configuration

I had a final question to you guys related to my problem:

Those hackers somewhat know my home IP what I can do for me to protect myself.

Those guides and advice in this topic is enough for me to be safe?

hacker can't hack u with ur IP address. those kids who says they will hack u coz they know ur IP address like yt fail trolls then don't bother them :D Also check if u have dynamic or static IP.and no, u need to update usrelf every time & search more good topic in this forum to increase ur awareness . thnx :D

@Koroke San : I got dynamic IP wired net, yea seems they had fun trolling at me specially my account tracking me anywhere in maps in game. It's so weird. That's the main thing I really wish to fix how I can protect myself from them. Read some guides but for me having a basic knowledge about net security I found myself hanging sometimes with terms where to go and other guides I can't successfully do it because I lack knowledge on it. Is there an article you know that might help me with this concerns?

Cyberghost is a help when I play online but is there a way for me not to hide anything like my IP but can protect me with those attacks?

Actually I had 1 yr subscription now with webroot, but with those guides explanation tackled earlier I am convinced that webroot lacks some ( not offending with the company ) security that base on my experience I was hacked really fast and easily by those people. Now kinda testing ESET security . But still undecided because prolly not the webroots fault why I was hacked but because of my own settings which i lacked.

In your opinion Webroot VS ESETsecurity 7 are they the same in terms of security or other has a greater advantage of protection?
 
Oh i see. That's good that's u own dynamic IP. oh & who trolling u? Did u more concern about ur privacy that ur IP showing ur country & regarding other information? then u can change ur IP with cyberghost. and like i said before u will not get hacked by anyone if u not leak ur online game account & password information to anyone or mistakenly u posting somewhere. change ur gaming account password 2-3 times a week & use a strong password with upper lower case & with special key which is hard to guess or brute force. don't click on any suspicious or doutable link & don't download anything even ur online friends recommended u or anything suspicious pops up & asking to download it while u playing online game. always check links with vtchromizer before u click on it in online games sites.

Are you using a 30 day ESS 7 trial & a WSA trial?

I know those people ( former buddies on OL game ) but its ok, the best thing for me now is to read your guides and protecting myself from those cyber attacks. Cause I don't blame them if they wanna troll on me or pester me cause they had their reasons for it which I don't know. That's why I joined here not for revenge but the solution is to educate myself about PC network etc and prevent them in terrorizing me once more if they attempt again. tnx @Koroke San =)

ESET is better then Webroot since ESET database is very good & provide better web protection, real time protection then webroot. also it's on-demand scan is quiet well & owns a good firewall. light on pc. beside webroot , better u add malwarebytes free version, it's up to u what u want. thnx :D

U can disable webroot real time protection & runs it alongside with ur AV but some peeps said they using webroot alongside with their AV without any conflict like u can run Malwarebytes Pro version ( real time) with ur current AV. U need to exclude webroot in ESET whitelist & add ESET in webroot whitelist to avoid any conflict. but if u face any system slowdown or any bug, error then it's best to disable it's realtime.

This guide is clearly understandable with me tnx koroke its a big help answered my questions clearly about 2 AV =)

Best for u to use ESET Smart Security with Malwarebytes & hitmanpro. No need extra security products since ur level is basic.and if u so worry about keyloggers like u said before then u can install zemana ( free or paid version) paid one provides additional features. Zemana sometimes gives false protection. before adding extra layer security to ur pc, u better know how to configure the product, how to use it properly & in advance way. for this u can search this great forum about security products, to know much better about them or ask experts here :D For now juts ESET, malwarebytes, hitman pro & those addons for chrome which i told. and remember everything depends on ur mouse click .

Totally agree with you @Koroke San and I am 2 days now reading the guides here and its really pretty useful. I will not doubt that one day this website that it will be one of the best or maybe the best guide for home/business security guide online =)
