Actor Paul Walker, best known for his role in the Fast and Furious franchise, died on Saturday afternoon after a car accident in Valencia, CA. He was 40 years old.

R.I.P Paul Walker :-(

My son and I love this movie franchise.
This must have been the sort of shock fans of James Dean felt when he crashed his car many years ago. R.I.P.

He seemed like a cool guy, though I was no huge fan of his work. I feel for his friends and family.

RIP paul.
However one movie franchise does not make you a huge movie star.
There are millions of so-called "ordinary" people dying and not a peep.
It seems nobody is bothered if you die unless you have been on celluloid.

We have genocide and famine in this world and nobody gives a toss.
One ""celebrity"" dies and the whole world goes into mourning.
What a terrible turn of face and shows the true nature of humanity.

My post may have touched a few nerves but its the TRUTH.
Any loss of life is a terrible thing but lets not start categorizing the level of importance of each death.

Thanks.

We mourn people we know, we knew Paul through his movies. How does one mourn millions of people we don't know? If you want to lecture people, start with the Elvis fans.

The fact we honor Paul does not mean that we are insensitive to the misery and suffering of "ordinary" people...

I did say we knew Paul through his movies. His film crews said he was the same guy off screen.
Here's Paul's charity:
