Sure, I'd be happy to help! It sounds like you're dealing with a managed extension. Here's a quick step-by-step guide:

1. Type "chrome://policy" in your Chrome address bar and hit enter.
2. If you see any policies, click "Show Value" to see more details.
3. If the policy is related to the troublesome extension, you'll need to remove it.
4. To do this, go to your Windows Start Menu, type "regedit" to open Registry Editor.
5. Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome".
6. Look for the extension ID and delete it.
7. Restart your browser.

Please be careful when editing the registry, as mistakes can cause system instability. If you're unsure, consider seeking professional help.

Reset your browser.
  1. To reset Chrome, open the browser and click the menu button.
  2. In Settings, expand the Advanced section and click "Reset and Clean Up."
  3. To be thorough, click "Clean Up Computer" and then click the "Find" button. Follow the instructions if any harmful software is found.
  4. Back in the Reset and Clean Up section, click "Restore Settings to Their Original Defaults."
Be aware that doing this will disable all of your extensions, clear cookies, and temporary site data, and reset things like Chrome shortcuts. It won't delete bookmarks, history, or saved passwords.

Oh hey.... Nice to meet everybody. I've been in sales my whole life and at age 56 I've decided that I want to be in a truck the rest of my life driving across the best, most beautiful country in the world.... OURS!! I recentlky went throughn a 240 hours school to get my CDL license, July 2nd. Hopefully I can get away from a desk, sales manager down the hall or 2 desks down. tube lighting, coat and tie, dirty ass carpet, and shitty coffee. That should better describe me. I'm going to start a YouTube page starting from my graduation at CDL school, to job search, to the first year of Trucking for a 56 year old man that can still kick ass. I served my country and anybody else that needed my help.

I took a snap shot of my registry location. I am well aware that I am doing open brain surgery when I open the registery. So I wanted a real doctor to tell me exactly where to move my hand. What exactly am I deleting? When I opened the chrome policy, like you asked, it showed that the "pejhf #####" was entered 2x's. So am I deleting the extension allow and extension force? Both?

Just delete the whole Chrome folder. Don't touch anything else since you're not a doctor. ;)

And welcome to MT. Please remember to stay safe, not paranoid. And buckle up and stay safe driving. (y)(y)
