Here is my first Photoshop tutorial here at MalwareTips. Before we proceed, turn off your antivirus, antimalware, firewall, etc. We won't be needing that anyways
Calculations:
We'll be merging two images with this will be our final result
Now that Photoshop is locked and loaded, time to perform the merging.
First we Open our background image, the lady with a wet hair.
Load the second image Orange Crush using File | Paste | Select the image | Place
Click on Channels. In this image, the channel with the most contrast is the Blue Channel next is the Green Channel so we will be doing our calculations on the Green and Blue Channels.
Select the Blue Channel and create a duplicate by pressing Ctrl+J
Make sure the Blue Copy is selected. Let's do the Calculations. Image | Calculations
At Source 1, select Layer Orange Crush and Green for the Channel. For Source 2 select Layer Orange Crush and Blue for the Channel. Set Blending to Multiply.
Erase the copyright text at the lower right of the Alpha 1 Channel by painting it with black.
Select the RGB Channels.
Click the Layers tab to return to image view. Now we apply the mask using Image | Apply Image...
Select Layer Orange Crush and Alpha 1for the Channel. Set Blending to Multiply. Click OK.
Now we desaturate the Orange Crush layer by applying Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer. Move the Saturation slider all the way to the left and clip the adjustment layer by clicking the Clip icon
That's it, we are done. Now you can turn on your Av again.
I uploaded the two images used here so you can try it out.
No malware have been harmed in the creation of this tutorial.
