Hi, i am using eset internet security with firewall in interactive mode. I also run mbam exploit protection with it. When ever eset block a port scan attack my internet slows down to 1/4 th of its original speed. I could see the log in eset log list that the port scanning attack has been successfully blocked . But i don't know why my internet slows down after the attack ! I have to disconnect from the internet completely and reconnect to get the normal downloading speed again. I scanned my cpu with mbam(rootkit scan) enabled, hitman pro and eset IS and no detections have been found in my system . How do i prevent my internet from getting slowed down after a port scan attack ?

[/b][/b]Download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST).
Choose the 32 or 64 bit version for your system.
and save it to a folder on your computer's Desktop.
Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
Press Scan button.
It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please copy and paste it to your reply.
The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

How to attach a file:
In the Reply section in the bottom of the topic Select Click the Attach Files.
