I'm unable to install, install stops at 47% giving an error message. I'm using bitdefender antivirus + 2013, please help.

I tried even that but getting the same error, please help...
i love this software, i use Bitdefender AV + only, my os is Win 8. i Dont use any other security products. is it necessary to have some? If so please suggest me an app allong with my current AV

Might want to reboot your system and run the installer again, sometimes a simple reboot will solve issues.

Your best bet is to contact PC Tools support like the error suggested.
Only they will be able to help you since this error gives no helpful details.
I suggest you register at their support forum and post a thread here.

Garbage software, now I know why I uninstalled it the last time I used it.
I get the same error myself, PC tools support site sucks, knowledge base will only lead you around in circles and there is no real support for Privacy Guardian itself.
One should not have to "disable" their main security solution just to install a cleaner.
Do yourself a favor, download CCleaner for free, it will do everything Privacy Guardian is supposed to do minus the head aches.
