It shows items being blocked but no drop down menu for detail breakdown. So not sure what's being blocked

you can go to option and see what is blocked

in the end, this extension is not different from an adblocker. Just the same thing
my ublock origin with a few privacy filters can block double the amount of this extension after I see what the extension can block

what filters we have matters

highly not recommended

here are my filters installed in ublock origin that may affect the result. There are more but I can't list them here
Adguard Spyware Filters
EasyPrivacy
Fanboy’s Enhanced Tracking List
Adguard’s Annoyance List
http://www.jabcreations.com/downloads/adblock-filters.php
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/StevenBlack/hosts/master/hosts
Adversity
Blockzilla
English Filter
uBlock Filters +

I also installed a hosts file to block ad system-wise: adaway -> this explains why I have a lower number of blocks compared to your result

In uBlock Origin, under Privacy I've notched Easy Privacy and Fanboy's Enhanced Tracking List...and under Multipurpose: notched Peter Lowe’s Ad and tracking server list, under Ads: notched Adblock... and EasyList

I've NOT notched Adguard Spyware Filters nor Adguard Annoyance Lists
I've not added any supplementary filters

I like PPP because it can show whether the blocked items is a js script, gif image etc. But it don't block as many items as uBO if I have many filters in the latter

I know UBO, Policy Control etc can (set to) block scripts, images, beacons etc.

But can they show in such details in a list instead of just blocked domains like google analytics.com etc i.e. display what's being blocked in a particular domain? If yes, how to show in uBO or Policy Control?

Thanks

So can I say having PPP (a bit outdated) and Policy Control would be adequate and uBO is not needed?

When I went to engadget.com my Nano AdBlocker shows 109 items blocked but The Logger only show 9 lines of items. Even if I use uBlock Origin 100+ of items will be blocked

I think something not right here
you have to follow these steps
- open engadget and wait until it finishes loading
- open the logger - erase all the logs using the eraser
- click the refresh button, now you will see everything

the logger only records the info from the time to open it, to reduce CPU load

So I have Privacy Defense, Privacy Protector Plus and uBlock O., for privacy (- and malware too: uBO) - trackers, profiling, social bugs...
- but it's Policy Control to control all!
