Troubleshoot Problem in opening U torrent , Q Bit torrent

unable to open downloaded u torrent file

Steps taken to resolve, but have been unsuccessful

After downloading U Torrent, Q Bit torrent , when i try to open it its not opening . Why ? Pls help me resolve it

Am an individual and the administrator . No parental controls . Earler i was using windows 7 OS , but recently Installed windows 10 OS . after this only am having this issue . Do not know how to resolve this . Am not a computer expert .

try older utorrent version like 2.2.1 i think its is the best version

Do you have problems opening the application itself, or opening torrent files with the application?

Did your AV quarantine the file?

Try to open the same in SAFE MODE. Sometimes it may have stuck, pause the av Kill its processes in Task Manager and restart the system
Uninstall and reinstall it
Go for a stable and recent version instead of latest one

You should uninstall uTorrent its dead, qBittorrent is the best torrent client from now on.

uTorrent & qBittorrent opened it in Windows 7?
