Hi Staff/community

Pleasd consider inplementing the following to the “profile posts” section

1) redirection to external links should be promping a popup notiying the user that the URL is externally hosted and may host malicious and/or offensive content (if you need assistance with the wording please DM me)-actually this should be for every section of the forum

2) ability to block known malicious URL that users might post in the “profile posts” secrion (aka user account gets hacked and posts phishing link etc)

Thanks!

In my opinion it would be sufficient to impose "hxxp//:" as standard header.
Those who want to open the website should copy the link, change the header (and possibly scan it on VT or Urlvoid) to avoid the automatic redirection.

This would make it hard for mobile users so it would reduce users’ forum engagement which is not ideal

I don't quite agree with option 1. But if there's an option to never show security warning popup again, I'm fine with it.

This diclaimer is primarly to legally “protect” the staff/forum platform but also make sure users understand the potential implications of clicking on such links
