Some drugs are only illegal because the Goverment doesn't get any taxes on it.

.....But selling them online poses a huge risk for the owners/operators.
I strongly agree the government in IMHO was founded for the corporations and not the people it was made to make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

Yes this is very true I read some articles about a year ago on how you cannot use them on tor etc. because they just blacklisted all tor nodes for searches etc. They also block searches like "Child porn" etc.

They have to, I mean, censorship or not there are just some things you don't help give access to if you're a global corporation with their status and clout. You can't really "search" for that anymore, even on Yandex, which doesn't care about much of anything. You either know where it is already or you know where to go to find out how you find it. Blocking TOR is most likely a combination of that and not being able to track users and serve ads.

Yeah Duck has some usability issues for sure. They're trying, and they are good for general use. The problem is they still use Google, so although you aren't being tracked, you're still being censored.

It's not as censored as you might think. They fail to cut out the malware domains, etc. DuckDuckGo does cut those out. It's meant for accurate. You type in CCleaner, you will get links where you can download or read about CCleaner and not a bunch of other crap that has nothing to do with it.

I'm not the one that usually clicks a addon to search things, but I guess now is the time to get used to it.

So far I really do like it.... it isn't slow like Google

Disconnect is the best way to search an engine like Google. Cuts out the tracks/ads and anything else they might have. Search results may slightly differ from the ones on the actual Google site. There was also another problem I noticed with it. Can't quite remember what it was. As for the addon. You can just go to https://search.disconnect.me to use it without an addon.

He's referring to how fast the results come up on Google's own site. Disconnect doesn't allow the tracks and such to get through which speeds it up.

Yep, I couldn't agree anymore because as everything goes to hell all the Tor sites are going down and the scripts are coming out to block adblock etc.
The greatest example of making adblock fail is to just have the ad an actualy resource from the site saved on the site etc. And just use some simple scripts to cycle through the people who bought your ad services

It's almost impossible to remove all malware domains. Those things come alive and die in the span of an hour. Google isn't God, even with their power they can't get rid of everything.

Oh Sorry about that but im still pretty sure google will have faster results than disconnect because they cache frequently searched results

Thats very true, however google is really trash at detecting malware on their own drive server because before I had posted a bunch of steam .scr malware that they didnt remove after I sent them the link through their url reporter services 7 TIMES. It was the same user just reposting new drive links etc.

Disconnect for me seems to be like 4 seconds faster, but these results will always vary for everyone.

If you're using the Hidden Wiki as your prime source for TOR links, yeah, it looks like things are dying out. But the Hidden Wiki is a wee portion of TOR, you have to keep digging and, really, you need to be already in some of these places to find where more of them are. Not that I suggest you do so, I'm just saying.

1) Turn off Geological Location to your browser.
2) Turn off WebRTC which known for possible leaking of IP address.
3) Use a proxy server which will sacrifice a little bit to your connection due to server location.
4) Other alternatives besides to DuckDuckgo and Startpage are LxQuick/Blekko. Much better if the search engine enhancer is from Google without sacrificing the privacy.

Another way is use another computer within different location so you don't feel track. ;)
