Seagate has always ranked above WD, but WD did buy SanDisk so that should be interesting.
I'm a Seagate user as well. I had 2 WD which failed suddenly with too much bad sectors. One seagate HDD failed and was replaced free of cost by Seagate. It failed prior to 20 days warranty expiration date of 5 yrs. New one is being used as external HDD.
I sold my SSD to actually get a higher capacity one. So any recommendations friends?
See if you can Crucial MX or BX line for cheaper price.
