Solved Question about Re-installing Windows 8.

So if i plan to re-install windows 8, but the laptop had windows 7 on it before is there any way to get the download for windows 8.1?



Let me try to explain

• The computer had windows 7 on it, If i re-format would it take me back to windows 7 or 8?
• Where can i get the windows 8.1 download?

something else you could consider is creating a disk image of your existing installation. then you could revert back easily. also, this is the legit method of upgrading to 8.1 from windows from an existing 8.0 installation: http://tinyurl.com/92bxels

If you want , you can use both of them in same PC (dual boot installation) , You must install the older operating system first. HOW ?
