EMET is a program that produces an ongoing protective effect, while I'm certain Malwarebytes anti-Rootkit is an on demand scanner only. So they do completely different things.

I mistakenly typed rootkit . My mean which is more effective MBAE beta or EMET.

I saw a discussion on exploit protection on the Comodo forum. The view prevailing there was get all the best anti-exploit stuff, which in their mind was EMET, Comodo Internet Security, and the Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (may have been before Malwarebytes bought it up). I would say get EMET and a realtime program like MBAE.

I made a mention of a Crystal Anti-Exploit Protection. I then saw it had serious problems at its release in 2012. I don't know whether the developer has fixed them. Discussion of the program since 2012 seems to have ceased, not a good sign.
