Keep in mind that Shadow Defender doesn't protect you from possible data transmission made by the malware if you make a dynamic test by starting the execution of infected .exe files.

Hi, I agree with the other suggestions, in addition you can install Collusion extension for your most used browser, which let you know which websites are tracking you.
You can also add BitDefender 60 second virus scanner, which is quick and light!
