Steps taken to resolve, but have been unsuccessful

PC inspector File Recovery

i got a problem with some files i recovered with " PC inspector File Recovery"... the prob is that 2 out of the 4 are damaged or something like that... when i open them it says that is impossible to open the file cuz its format or extension is not valid. Do someone knows how to repair these files???

Open Excel
File > Open > Browse for document you want to repair
then select the document and click Open and Repair option

If that doesn't help, it could be that the file was overwritten by some another file or fragment before you recovered it. There's nothing you can do about it.

Sucks to hear. Few weeks and lots of data old. Still holding my hopes someone else has some ideas, but I was already thinking what you confirmed.
