RSS 2012 is currently in limited Beta, visit their forum for more info.

Simply a base post for Returnil Sub-Forum

Before i tried it but its resource usage was a bit high (for my standard) compared to SD, so i dump it, but during my test , it works well.

What was the resource usage at the time you used RSS?

at that time around 100+mb of RAM and 10% CPU, it was long time ago so i can't tell for the latest version.

Is this the same as shadow defender and timefreeze?

yes

btw, who knows what engine the AV uses?

They were using F-Prot engine previously. Not sure about their new version though. I believe Earth was testing their latest beta.

Earth?

I was testing until I encountered a few Bsod from a driver, not related to Returnil.

It may still use F-Prot AV in the 2012 Beta release, but did in the previous versions.

I plan to re-install RSS 3.3 (2012) Beta soon.

Earth, any chance you could provide some screenshots?
Tried accessing RSS page but having problems displaying the site, probably due to my connection being slow since I am patching a game and if I pause it, I have to re-download everything which is over 10gb.

Edit, maybe I am not reading it right but is the detection rate or RSS that bad? I know F-Prot ain't the best when it comes to detection rate but...

Not sure if I'm allowed to publicly post screenshots.

F-Prot isn't the best, there was something on Wilders about it here:
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=329390

You can use your own AV if you don't want to use F-Prot.
