Hello friends,

I was playing with RunScanner, it is a startup, hijack analyzer. It is freeware for personal use.

It is very good for removing and fixing the startup, I am using for detecting malware parts, see if it was removed from system.


It has:

Authenticode signature analysis.
Check all the certificates of your started files and verify if you trust the publisher.

Virustotal integration.
Send suspect files to Virustotal and have them checked by multiple anti-virus engines.

FileAdvisor integration.
Compare the MD5 hash of your files with the online Fileadvisor database.
Currently 4.028.732.854 hashes available.

Google search integration.
Search information for suspicious files on Google.

Runscanner online database integration. (+ online malware analysis)
Compare the MD5 hash of your files with the online Runscanner database.
Currently 160.000 (startup file) hashes available.

Powerful filtering.

But I use much more powerful PCHunter, and PowerTool .. click search box in MT here ..
