I've recently freshen up my laptop so I finally have a chance to review security settings. (My previous settings are gradually update over time and I just forget the changes I made) Not much changed from the defaults. Hope it secure enough for normal everyday use.

I recommend using HitmanPro by Sophos instead of their virus removal tool. It's definitely more effective. Also consider setting UAC to Max to prevent various UAC bypasses. Otherwise nice config!

Seems like a very light weight scanner. Will consider trying it. So... for free version the removal function just expire after 30 days while retaining scanning function?

It will retain the scanning function. The removal function normally isn't needed anyway. If it detects something you can delete the detected file manually in the shown path.
