Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 is undoubtedly the most anticipated smartphone to be released in the next two months, and the hype around it continues to build up as the frequency of leaks intensifies. The latest regards the fact that the South Korean handset manufacturer intends to start mass production of the Galaxy Note 7 next month.

The information comes from ET News, which reports that Samsung plans to produce 5 million smartphones until August. This will be the initial supply of the device as more units could be manufactured later on.

Sources from ET News have stated that the dual-edge display will be applied for the first time on a Galaxy Note series. In 2014, Samsung did launch the Galaxy Note Edge with a curved display, but only on one side. What's more, there have been previous reports regarding a dual-edge screen on the upcoming Note 7, culminating with Samsung’s invite to an event that suggested the handset would be unveiled on August 2.

If the date is correct, it means that Samsung has the intention of starting selling the device right after its official unveiling. This would make perfect sense, since the iPhone 7 is expected to arrive in September, and Samsung wants to attract as many consumers as possible before Apple’s new smartphone hits the market.

Samsung might not launch a Galaxy Note 7 variant with a flat display
Furthermore, it's been said that Samsung has already started ordering parts for the new Galaxy Note 7, and the company intends to produce 2.5 million units in July and an equal amount in August.

Samsung expects the Galaxy Note 7 to perform better than its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 5. Evidence of this lies in the fact that the company’s supply of the Galaxy Note 5 was 5 million units as well but stretched over a period of three months, not two as is the case of the Note 7.

The report mentions that the Galaxy Note 7 will be coming with a dual-curved display and that a variant with a flat display won’t be available. In addition, recent rumors have suggested that Samsung contracted Patron to supply iris scanner modules for the Galaxy Note 7, the second device in Samsung’s portfolio to get such a feature, after the Galaxy Tab Iris.

Because Samsung will know already and anticipate that people will go to Apple's new Iphone 7 instead no matter how good features they are.

Sometimes let's consider that many are casual users than experience ones so choosing is not ever become complicated.

They have money? No problem at all.

Samsung's releases will be quickly substituted by cheaper Chinese versions that pack the same features. They won't last long without cheaper prices in this market.
