Does anyone know which company was the first to create a sandbox?
Was it Comodo?

GreenBorder Technologies, were original pioneers of sandbox
they were purchased by Google ,
and that was their down fall

they had what you would conciser today as a sandbox,
Although don't know if they were the original concept of Sand boxing
or if they purchased the tech form someone else ,
their sandbox today so would not stand up to today s malware or root-kits

Sandboxie 1.0 beta was released June 2004.

Before that? Will require some in-depth self-research, because I have no idea.

Either or, The only security programs I know of currently that has a sandbox is Comodo,Kaspersky & Avast
