Hi, i downloaded a freeware unzipper called izip and have been trying to eradicate its effects from google chrome. I followed some removal instructions from malwaretips.com and got to the running of the adware remover (step 3), just prior I tried opening google chrome and the screen appeared as I remembered it but I continued as I thought the complete solution would be advisable, however after running the adware remover I tried opening chrome again and got a reduced set of icons and a message saying that settings were lost. I abandoned the fix at this point thinking that maybe only the settings needed fixing. When I open chrome now I just get Chrome web store. As you can probably tell I'm not only new to forums but aged 65 I'm lagging a bit in techno knowledge. (HP Pavillion; W7; 6 mnths old) I'm using my laptop to send this
