Maybe i am using Windows 7 and have had no problems. Now how to find the conflicting software and get it sorted out.

Maybe @hjlbx might be able to help he knows a lot about this software.

Might be as trivial as disk defragmenter running a scheduled task on a SSD...
I remember having to hard reset my PC because SD stalled, but that was due to the memory leak issue in SD which was fixed in a later build...
