Avast! Antivirus is not (yet) installed due to installer failure.

I am going to test Malwares on separate isolated (all the things are stripped but core components) machine which is kept outside of internet.
Please submit malwares you wish to be tested!

Update: Sell Hack was removed.

And yep, my computer lacks any space, so I am going to get some space freed.

I think you could uninstall a few programs and keep one that can perform all the needed tasks.Looks good. Thanks for sharing your config :)

I think Avast! is suspiciously refusing to install updates.
(I did managed to install, but the screen was buggy and the UI was only accessible via "About Avast!" menu.)

Now it's stuck in updating itself, which is stuck at downloading ais_core-4e4.vpx.
Virus definition never updates, it is stuck at "Downloading definition...".

Do you use any VPN/proxies or have you used them in the past ?
Did you try turning off all your other protection software before launching the update ?

MBAM is on-demand scan only, and Avast now (sort of) running okay.
But the boot-time scan is not available.

Too late. My scan results are gone (probing results) and I am unsure if I had a backup.
I had tons of them...
