Yes, I sent the screen shot back by replying to your email. I was hoping you would be able to get it that way. It would not let me upload it here.

I see the problem. FRST tool you have in this folder is shortcut, you need to have original tool, not its shortcut.

Delete this shortcut and move FRST tool from the location you run it first time.

Ok, I have put the original in the folder, I opened it and clicked fix. It still did not restart my computer.

Very nice. I would like you to run one more tool and then after the restart, I want you to tell how is your PC behaving now?

Fix with AdwCleaner

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save the file to your Desktop.
  • Right-click on
    adwcleaner_new.png
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
  • Accept the Terms of use.
  • Wait until the database is updated.
  • Click Scan.
  • When finished, please click Cleaning.
  • Your PC should reboot now.
  • After reboot, logfile will be opened. Copy its content into your next reply.

Note: Reports will be saved in your system partition, usually at C:\Adwcleaner

Yipppee! I am not a very patient person, so having a computer that is slow is really not a good thing for me. Thanks so much for your very patient help! I'll have to make that donation next week when my husband gets paid. I have already put a reminder in my phone. ;)
