Advice Request [Solved] Potplayer Illegible screen text

I downloaded a 1080p video tutorial which shows a PC screen output. When I play this w/Potplayer the text displays as illegible scribbles. On SMPlayer the screen text is as clear and easily read. I've set the video renderer to automatic after trying a few alternate settings and noting seems to help. Here's what I see w/Potplayer:

Clean uninstall, reinstall latest version.

Was hoping not to do that, but you're right.

I ran a clean install, and the video text display was resolved. For kicks, I added back the "ini" file from the previous setup and all turned bleak. Since I'm not sure there was anything critically useful in that config, I deleted it. Not worth the time to bother with. Thanks!
