My external hard drive is infected with SQPC. I am wondering if it is possible to recover an external hard drive rather than a PC.

Sqpc is one of the malicious programs that belong to the ransomware family called Djvu.

Upload a ransom note and/or sample encrypted file to identify the ransomware that has encrypted your data.

You ca submit a sample of the compromised files for their review.
They will reply and let you know what you are dealing with and if a solution is available.

As far as we know now there is no solution for this type if infection on the computer or any external drive.
