Try disabling the Enhanced Protected Mode manually in Internet Explorer 11 settings.It is enabled by default and has problems running with this enabled

Install it over your current installation and please let me know if it helped you, we may include it into the next update (this issue has already been reported by several customers with Win 8.1).

Thank you soooo much! I had the exactly same problem on my Win 8.1 and spent more than an hour to try and get it running with no success. I will install the file from your link and hopefully it will resolve my problem as well.
