The best BB is Emsisoft's Mamutu. It doesnt have too much concurrents ^^

I have seen that Mamutu does not do anything so I wont recommend it. Strom sheild looks promising yet I would opt for Threatfire.

Did you test it? Mamutu is EAM's behavior Blocker, i used EAM for long time, and i can tell that what you said is false.

Well comparing between HIPS and BB it may goes vary.

Since the power of HIPS (like StormShield and others) were hold by the experience users and pop ups were really crucial as novice users cannot provide it.

While BB (Threatfire and others) providing a possible for malicious thus even novice users may prompt to block it since everything related to be suspicious behavior by a certain application.

For me I would go for Threatfire for being a Behavior Blocker type.
