Hi,
I have windows 7 with 4 partition on hard disc. I have a iso file on my 4th partition and i have deleted the file,i have formatted the hd installed new os and defag the disc number of times.

Now i want that iso file back which is more than 1 gb
i have tried minitool data recovery and able to get back data older than that file but unable to get that particular file.

Please Suggest some good recovery software pro/free so i can get back the iso as well few important files.

There is a program called Recuva, from the same company as CCleaner: http://piriform.com/recuva which is free, but I don't guarantee that it will work after a format.
I don't remember any other software other than the one I mentioned.

EDIT: Sorry for not noticing Malware Maniac's post.

The suggestion by pcjunklist have worked for me and I can see file which I want to get back but not able to get back as it is a paid software and i don't wish to pay 80 dollars for recovery, I have downloaded it again.

If Mod wish to close the thread they can.
