Am yet to get a grip of some of the computer esentials . Like malware, Rootkit , antispam etc .Infact am learning from such wonderful forums .And thanks to all who share their knowledge with others . Am sure i will get to know a lot from you all .

Programs to remove:

• Spybot Search & Destroy (against today's malware it is not that effective)

Programs to add:

• HitmanPro
• Zemana Anti-Malware Free
• Zemana Anti-Logger Free
• Emsisoft Emergency Kit

Adblocker? You put Adblocker which one or is that the name, I recommend one of the following:

• Adguard
• uBlock Origin

As K7 may miss some malicious websites (or may not even have that feature) you should add ONE following browser extensions:

• Avira Browser Safety OR avast! Online Security

Using multiple malicious website blockers can cause problems.
Exploits are spreading fast and most anti-viruses can't protect against them consider ONE of the following:

• Microsoft EMET (recommended for more advanced users)
• Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit Free (simple and very effective)
• HitmanPro. Alert (most features but NOT free)

Important Advice from me:

• Avoid cracking, hacking or keygen tools 99% of them are malicious and illegal!
• Try to use official websites and programs, try to avoid third-parties as much as possible.
• Keep software and operating system up-to date is essential.
• Think before you click!

Tornado pretty much covered all the bases. I presume that you use a VM when participating in the MalwareHub?

Edit: What's with your thread title? Just name it "Swathiravi's Security Configuration". I'm not even sure if users can change thread titles, so we might need a mod to do that for you.

You're welcome Took me some time to find it also, although someone mentioned it on my Sec config You know, unable to see the wood for the trees

A VM is a must if you are playing with malware!
