Ever since Microsoft renovated the internet explorer browser with a new name, new look and new logo, the Edge browser has forced its way into becoming one of the most popular in the world.
Everything indicates that Microsoft is pushing the Edge browser to the very top. The Edge browser has a lot to offer, and this makes difficult to switch back to your old once you start using it.
Microsoft has done a lot with their revamped browser, and they want you to experience it. Recently, Microsoft launched a new ad campaign for the Edge browser on iOS. This ad was targeted at users of the Outlook app on the iOS platform.
This time around, Microsoft has launched a new advertising campaign on the Windows platform in promoting the Edge browser.
Sources say that Microsoft is currently testing a new ad to push to the Edge Browser users of both Windows 10 and Windows 11. Seeing ads of Edge on the Windows platform is something that almost every Windows user has seen before.
However, this new ad will target users who try to switch to another browser. Microsoft will push more recommendations to such users in order to convince them to keep using Edge.
When a user gets to the download page of the Chrome browser, they will see a new pop-up from the tool bar of the Edge Browser. The ad says that Edge browser runs on the same technology as Chrome with the added trust of Microsoft. One interesting thing you may notice about this ad is that it claims the offer to switch to Edge lasts for 14 days
In an attempt to convince users to keep using the Edge Browser, Microsoft is offering Windows 10 and Windows 11 users free Gift Cards. If you are on Windows 10 or 11 and have enabled Edge Bar, you should see a new advert that usually pops up asking you to use Edge in order to gain Gift Cards.
Microsoft does this by running seven days challenge where users can get gift cards when they browse the web with the Edge bar for 3 days. The description of the advertisement reads, “Search with the Edge bar for three days to earn extra 3,100 points. Offer valid for one person/account within seven days of joining the challenge”.
